Hotel Offi House

The three-star Hotel Offi House is situated in the heart of Eger on Little Dobó Square in a beautiful 18-century late Baroque building. Inside we also mixed the Baroque elegance with modern comfort: all five rooms have bathrooms wirh shower cabins, air conditioners, minibars, telephones, WIFI and televisions. Two rooms are facing toward the Castle and the Minaret, while three of them face Dobó square. They are double rooms, partly with trundle beds, so we can accomodate 12 persons altogether.

Due to its central location, you can reach nearly all the important sights with a five-minute walk from Offi House Hotel, the building is still a quiet place.

We received this centenarian building as a family heritage, but the three of us nearly got lost in it. While I was sitting, watching the enormous ceiling, the imposing windows, I thought: „Why not please other people with transforming the Offi House into a restaurant and hotel?” We believe that the building is pervaded by the homelike mood, as it is a small hotel waiting for its guests with a real homely atmosphere.

'Correct, prudent administration from the first moment. Kind, friendly and polite welcome which remained the same all the time. Homely atmosphere, service. Furnishing is practical, the room is clean and nice. The location, the evening view to the floodlit square, drinking wine on the Terrace at the feet of the Castle gives a unique experience. The menu is diverse, the variety is exciting, the wines are delicious. The service is attentive, kind and polite. It’s really difficult to choose from the rich programme selection.'
