The OFFI HOUSE is located in the heart of Eger, in the Kis Dobó Square, in a beautiful late Baroque building from the 18th century. The excellent location of our comfortable accommodation allows easy walking access to the city’s most important attractions, while the building itself is situated in a quiet environment.

The wine bar also features a charming terrace on Kis Dobó Square.

“Those who visit us in the summer can savor a glass of Bikavér (Bull’s Blood wine) or a refreshing fröccs while contemplating the lively atmosphere of the charming town. From our terrace, you can take in the ambiance of centuries past: as you stroll along the cobblestone street, overlooking the Eger Creek, which once marked the county border, you can admire the revitalized Dobó Square with the baroque Minorita church and the beautiful county hall. Behind the houses, you can still catch a glimpse of the domes of the Eger Basilica. However, at 15:52, a loud bang will surely wake you from your daydreaming: heralding the glorious victory against the Turks in 1552, a ceremonial shot is fired from the Flag Hill above the restaurant. So, soak in the atmosphere of this little jewel box and drink to the memory of the valiant defenders of Eger!”
